Located on Bearwood Road, Oak Ca Phe is the Vietnamese coffee shop and restaurant bringing bold flavours and comfort food to Bearwood.
Oak Ca Phe is about more than just grabbing a bite to eat, it’s a place to meet and gather, to enjoy the little moments in life and to really savour some great food and delicious, authentic Vietnamese flavours. The owners have worked hard to create a calm and iniviting space that welcomes you in, and a menu packed full of secret family recipes.
Using a combination of traditional, family recipes from Vietnam and modern techniques, the team at Oak Ca Phe have created a menu packed with bold, vibrant flavours that’s both fresh and light, and warm and comforting. You’ll find loads of crowd-pleasing dishes on their menu that will leave you wanting to visit time and time again. Some of their signature dishes include Vietnamese favourites such as Banh Mi, Pho and more, as well as chicken wings, noodle bowls and squid and, of course, their delicious pastries and Vietnamese coffees.
Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee and a pastry, or you’re enjoying a leisurely lunch, this place has it all. The Vietnamese coffees are truly delicious, whether hot or iced – with lots of unique coffees to try, including egg coffee, coconut coffee and salted coffee. Plus their extravagant array of fresh pastries is heavenly – think huge fluffy croissants, decadent cruffins, moreish danishes, and you get the gist.
Alongside their coffees and pastries, they also offer an extensive menu of hot dishes including small plates, curries, noodle bowls and more. From Vietnamese favourites like Summer Rolls, Ca Ri (Vietnamese coconut curry), Pho and Bun Thit Noung (Vermicelli noodle bowl), to less traditional dishes like loaded fries, there are so many mouth-watering dishes to choose from – including plenty of veggie and vegan options too.
As well as their delicious food, they do of course have an excellent drinks menu too. We’ve mentioned their wonderful Vietnamese coffees, but they also offer a selection of teas and hot chocolate, as well as an array of lovely refreshing cold drinks too. From flavour-packed smoothies using exotic fruits to freshly squeezed juices (we can never resist a freshly squeezed orange juice when we see one), there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The interior is casual chic, with lots of calming tones, houseplants and wooden accents giving nice tonal, relaxed vibes which perfectly complement the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere the owners have created. With a mix of bar seating for when you’re just stopping by and comfy chairs for when you want to relax, every corner of this cute coffee shop is both stylish and practical.
