Located on Lower Trinity Street, Mama Roux’s is Digbeth’s neighbourhood bar, yard and live music venue.

The main, covered yard area features a stunning, draping, wisteria-effect ceiling with a glitter ball centrepiece, mood lighting and wooden tables, perfect for that outdoor yet indoor feel. This is a yard worthy of your Instagram feed, and when the weather is playing ball, you can sit on the front terrace adorned with purple tables, colourful streamers and with the added bonus of sunshine.
The indoor bar area of Mama Roux’s has a different look but the same party vibes. Here you’ll find neon lighting, leather booth seating and a moody ambience. Sporting yet another look, is the live music venue section where you can boogie on down to some amazing artists.
Whether it’s live saxophone players or house and disco DJs, there’s always a string of events to look forward to at this brilliant venue. They have one of the most varied rosters of any live music venue in the city and the intimate setting is perfect for getting up close and personal with your favourite acts.
The drinks list at Mama Roux’s is packed with crowd-pleasing favourites. From a great selection of beer and soft drinks to a natural wine selection from local legends, Wine Freedom, there’s something for everyone. You could try one of their house cocktails for a tasty, fun and boozy drink, or grab your favourite spirit and mixer. If all of that dancing and drinking means you’ve worked up an appetite, street food legends Only Jerkin’ are on hand to serve up their delicious street eats, putting their twist on dishes with traditional Jerk seasoning. From fried chicken nuggets to BBQ wings and fries – they’re putting their Jerk stamp on everything (including their Jerk gravy – a ‘must have’ dip to accompany your feast), and it’s all lip-smackingly tasty.
