Drawing inspiration from Sri Lanka and South India, the menu has been designed to reflect the fresh ingredients, flavours and style of cooking in these regions. Cooking and eating are simple pleasures, bringing people together which is what the team at Dil Se are aiming to do – bring guests together to enjoy some mouth-watering food and drinks. Their belief that food should be made ‘from the heart’ influences everything they do and the team’s love for food and hospitality shines through.
The ambition at Dil Se is to showcase high quality Indian food through a fusion of South and North Indian dishes. South Indian cuisine is predominantly plant-based including lots of vegetables, legumes and whole grains (making it a little bit healthier if that’s your thing, but no less delicious). Coconut is used in lots of dishes as well as gluten free flour so there are lots of veggie, vegan and gluten free options making sure everyone can enjoy this delicious food.
On the menu you’ll find a range of delicious starters from light nibbles (such as papadoms or masala peanuts) to Chaats, and veggie, meat and seafood small plates. Start your delicious meal with the likes of Chilli Paneer, Vada Pav (a spicy potato patty in a bun with chutneys), Butter Chicken Wings, Kashmiri Chicken Tikka, Lamb Sheek Kebab, Tandoori Jumbo King Prawn and more. Or, if you can’t decide, grab one of their mixed platters to try a selection of mouth-watering dishes.
For mains you’ll find a selection of crowd-pleasers and comforting dishes from Dosa (a savoury crispy crepe with a choice of fillings) and Uttapam (a thick and soft savoury crepe with various fillings) to veggie and meat curries, seafood dishes, Biryani and some Indo-Chinese fusion dishes. Whether you choose the Pan Fried Masala Sea Bass or the Saag Chicken, the Kachhi Mirch Ka Lamb or the Palak Paneer, each dish is cooked with the expertise to ensure it is delicious every time. Every dish is packed full of flavour.
In addition to their regular menu, Dil Se also offer an Indian-inspired Afternoon Tea and a Bombay Bottomless Brunch – for those looking to indulge in style.
To accompany your delicious dishes, they have an extensive drinks menu with an option for everyone to enjoy. Enjoy a selection of red, rose, white and sparkling wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks, and even thick, creamy milkshakes (in flavours such as Oreo, Ferrero Rocher and Mango – yes please). They also offer a range of house cocktails and mocktails. From classics like Pina Colada, Mojitos and Passionfruit Martinis to more unique concoctions like Mumbai Mango Mule, Banana and Nutella Martini, and Strawberry Watermelon Margarita, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Their mocktails are just as tasty with the likes of Mango Colada and non-alcoholic Mojitos making the ideal accompaniment to your meal.
