Introducing Chapter.
Located on Greenfield Crescent, Edgbaston, Chapter is the neighbourhood restaurant and bar where independence and quality are the story.
Found in the heart of the lovely and leafy suburb of Edgbaston, Chapter is a wonderful neighbourhood restaurant and bar. In equal measure the perfect place to celebrate an occasion and the ideal locale for a mid-week date night or casual dinner, this beautiful venue has it all covered.
And don’t just take it from us how wonderful this neighbourhood restaurant is, as it was named as one of the 100 best local restaurants by the Good Food Guide 2023 – a massive achievement that is fully well-deserved.
At Chapter, the menus are led by nature, with a strong focus on seasonal produce from across the British Isles. Passionate about showcasing quality British produce, they source their ingredients from dedicated farmers and fishermen around the UK, buying only free range meat, LEAF accredited fruit and vegetables, and daily catches from British harbours.
Chapter is all about embracing the community and being very accessible. Open for a la carte lunch, and dinner Tuesday – Saturday, breakfast Friday through Sunday and Sunday lunch (their Sunday lunch is a favourite), there are lots of options to enjoy at Chapter.
Chapter runs a very popular Set Price Menu all day and evening from noon on Tuesdays to Saturdays. Pop in for lunch, dinner, or somewhere in between! Super accessible for the casual meet up all day and for those working from home, enjoy popping out for a quick client lunch or late afternoon break. Enjoy one course for £17pp, two courses for £24pp or three for £31pp. The menu is seasonal, showcasing the best of British produce and always includes vegan and vegetarian choice.
You will enter Chapter through the bar, and as you step inside the door you’ll enjoy views over the terrace and into the open kitchen, where you can watch the talented chefs work their magic. The ingredients for Chapter’s cocktails are sourced with just as much care as is given to the food, with seasonal ingredients and carefully curated flavours throughout the cocktail menu. Pull up a seat at the bar and enjoy a drink or two (you don’t have to have a restaurant reservation or be dining at Chapter to enjoy their fabulous drinks – just turn up and grab a seat at the bar and you can enjoy some delicious drinks). You can also grab a drink or two before your meal.
If cocktails aren’t your thing, there are of course other amazing drinks available too. Whether you fancy a delicious glass of wine, a locally sourced craft beer, or an alcohol-free cocktail, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on the expertly-curated drinks list. Oh, and dogs are welcome in the bar area until late afternoon, so bring your goodest boys and girls to join in the fun too.
The interior is modern, stylish and sophisticated, but not pretentious or stuffy, just laid-back with a touch of class. The stylish interior perfectly complements the delicious food, which is all cooked perfectly using those amazing British, seasonal ingredients. Without a doubt one of the standout (and most popular dishes) is their breakfast skillet – featuring homemade brisket, potatoes, duck egg and herbs. It is a little skillet full of comfort and happiness. Their Sunday lunch deserves an honourable mention too – generous portions of delicious Sunday lunch goodness (with roast beef, market fish, a weekly special and a veggie/vegan option to choose between).
So whether you’re looking for the perfect place for a weekend brunch, a delicious mid-week dinner, a casual drink with amazing bar food, or a mouth-watering Sunday roast – Chapter is always the answer.
